Heartsaver CPR AED is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. All Heartsaver CPR AED course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.
Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
This course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants.
Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.
The online portion of Heartsaver CPR/AED can be purchased through Redicare Alliance Network, LLC for an additional cost.
